X20 MapLINK
X20 Variable Rate Control and Mapping (MAPLINK)
Topcon’s MAPLINK software for the X20 combines the functions of variable rate product application with prescription maps, complementing the full range of X20 controller options, including Seeding, Spraying and Spreading.
MAPLINK allows you to easily import prescription maps, build your own maps, or simply log product
application and elevation data.
Versatile
MAPLINK is one of the most versatile products on the market and is compatible with numerous file formats.
MAPLINK can control seeding, spraying and spreading applications, all with individual bin/tank inputs.
With MAPLINK you can tackle the high-end functions of precision farming with one console that can create,
control and log – as well as steer and turn specific machinery on or off.
Build Maps
Building prescription and elevation maps is as easy as driving around the field and areas requiring different inputs to create a template. The user can then add colors, rates and completed jobs.
Save Maps
With MAPLINK, operators can simultaneously program five prescription layered maps and log five application layers, plus an elevation map. Prescription and application maps can be saved, exported to other application software, printed or even e-mailed using standard Windows® programs.
Increase Crop Yields
Many agronomists agree there is a good correlation between elevation, soil type and crop yields.
MAPLINK allows you to easily map elevation zones across your fields.
Management Tool
Elevation maps are very useful for farmers in frost prone areas where there is often a strong correlation between low-yield and low-lying areas. Elevation maps are useful management tools that can be employed to plant different varieties (for example late-flowering varieties) in those frost affected zones. For every operation pass, MAPLINK can create an elevation map that can be used as an agronomic or management tool to determine when fields need to be re-levelled and which operations are having the greatest impact on the field.
Compatible File Format
Quickmap (included with MAPLINK) is a desktop tool capable of handling numerous file formats including: Shape files, GDX, Geo-referenced bitmaps and XML (VRC prescription files).
